BTS Jin’s rapid-fire wit is legendary, but did he finally meet his match? In Episode 6 of the Run BTS! spin-off Run Jin, BTS Jin and his close friend, actor Lee Yi Kyung, teamed up for a fun tennis game.
Their opponents? Two special guests: 11-year-old Hong Jeong Yeon and 12-year-old Lee Jun. While these kids aren’t professional tennis players yet, they do have eight years of experience between them.
From the moment the kids were introduced, BTS Jin was left speechless when they named Jungkook, not BTS Jin, as their favorite K-Pop idol. Although BTS Jin pretended not to be upset, this sparked a hilarious battle of wits that carried on throughout the episode.
After a wild tennis match full of yelling, jokes, and “bad sportsmanship,” Jin and the group took a break to enjoy some chicken.
During the meal, Lee Yi Kyung apologized for their loud behavior, asking the kids to forgive them. The kids accepted, but Jin cheekily declared, “I don’t want to apologize.”
In response, Jeong Yeon fired back with, “I don’t want to forgive you either,” leaving Jin in shock and Lee Yi Kyung in fits of laughter.
If Jeong Yeon doesn’t pursue tennis, maybe she’ll have a future in entertainment—perhaps even outwitting Jin again.
