Microsoft giving away custom South Park Xbox Series X consoles in month long sweepstakes

Microsoft is currently giving custom South Park Xbox Series X consoles as prizes for a sweepstakes they are running.

These custom consoles all have artwork of the four main characters of South Park in their fantasy alter egos. An Eric Cartman-themed Xbox Series X and controller will be given to the first-place winner, while consoles and controllers with Kenny McCormick, Kyle Broflovski, and Stan March will be issued to second, third, and fourth-place winners.

If contestants do not win a console and controller bundle, they can also send an email to Info@xboxpromotions.com with the subject line “South Park: Snow Day! and Xbox Series X Custom Consoles and Controllers Sweepstakes” 30 days after April 22 has passed to check a list of winners who earned $25 (USD) or more.

To enter, contestants must use their X (formerly Twitter) account to follow the official Xbox X account and repost any promotional posts that have the hashtag #SouthParkXboxSweepstakes during the entry period, i.e., from March 26, 9 A.M. (Pacific Time) to April 22, 8 P.M. (Pacific Time). Users who do so will receive one sweepstakes entry. 

After the entry period, winners are randomly chosen by drawing from all eligible entries Microsoft received; users can improve their odds of winning by earning more entries. Eligible contestants have to be 18 years old or older and must be living in an Xbox Console-supported country to enter the South Park Xbox sweepstakes.

What is South Park: Snow Day?

South Park: Snow Day is the latest South Park Xbox video game that chronicles the adventures of the New Kid, a mute custom character that players control, and is based on the South Park animated comedy series. The game focuses on the New Kid, the four main characters (Cartman, Kenny, Stan, and Kyle), and the other children of South Park donning their fantasy personas and taking advantage of school being canceled to go out and play/fight one another.

Snow Day is a hack-and-slash game that features card mechanics where players can choose temporary buffs to aid them in battle. Four-player co-op is available, allowing players to battle through both the story mode with their friends and the free horde mode DLC.

South Park: The Stick of Truth and South Park: The Fractured But Whole are the previous adventures of the New Kid and were RPGs. The former was a medieval fantasy-themed game, while the latter shifted away from fantasy in lieu of superheroes.
