The Shinjuku Showdown arc is nearing its climax, with just a few chapters left before the series wraps up. In the meantime, early leaks for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 have started surfacing online, revealing the surprising return of Nobara Kugisaki, a major character fans have been eagerly waiting to see.
Chapter 267 kicks off with a flashback featuring Gojo and Yuta discussing a plan. Yuta suggests feeding one of Sukuna’s fingers to Rika so she can copy Sukuna’s Shrine technique. However, Gojo disagrees, explaining that a single finger wouldn’t be enough to replicate such a powerful ability. It’s then revealed that a larger amount of Sukuna’s power is needed for such a strong technique, requiring a significant part of his body.
Yuta explains that he had to use the arms of Inumaki and Hana, which can’t be healed even with the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT). Mei Mei expresses concern that they can’t reveal this plan to Yuji, as Sukuna might sense it. To prevent this, they only share the essential details with Yuji. As the scene shifts back to the ongoing battle, Sukuna notices that Yuji is missing two fingers and quickly realizes Yuta was behind this, using one of Yuji’s fingers to copy the Shrine technique.
The highlight of the chapter, however, is the return of Nobara Kugisaki. Fans have been anticipating Nobara Kugisaki’s comeback for a long time, and her reappearance in this chapter adds a new layer of excitement to the ongoing battle. Nobara Kugisaki’s return could be a turning point as the series approaches its finale, making this chapter a must-read.

Utahime explains that the finger acts as a binding vow, and using the cursed technique was the only way to make their plan work. She then hints at someone who woke up just a few hours ago. As Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 progresses, we see Nobara standing tall, wearing an eye patch, ready for battle, and saying, “Smile up, boys!”
Nobara Kugisaki immediately jumps into action and uses her “resonance” technique on the finger. Yuji starts smiling when he sees Nobara Kugisaki, and she teases him, saying, “How’s that for Oppappi, you dumbass!” With Sukuna momentarily distracted, Yuji charges in and hits him with a Soul Dismantle. Although Sukuna takes the blow, he quickly strikes back, reminding Yuji that this fight isn’t over yet.
Sukuna warns Yuji that he has pushed himself beyond his limits and that using so much cursed energy will only backfire. The chapter ends with Yuji landing a punch directly on Sukuna’s face and then getting ready for another strike. As Yuji delivers a powerful blow to Sukuna’s stomach, he declares, “It’s time we end this!”
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 is scheduled for official release on August 25 on the Shonen Jump+ app. With Nobara’s unexpected return, it will be interesting to see how Gege Akutami writes the climax of the current battle, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic and thrilling conclusion to the series.
