In this, she explains the whole concept thoroughly, “You see how I do my make-up for work? Very demure. Very mindful. I don’t come to work with a green-cut crease. I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t do too much. I’m very mindful while I’m at work. You see how I look very presentable? The way I came to the interview is the way I go to the job. A lot of you girls go to the interview looking like Marge Simpson and go to the job looking like Patty and Selma. Not demure. I’m very modest. I’m very mindful.”

After Hawk Tuah Girl, now Demure is making headlines across various platforms from TikTok to X and Instagram reels. The term has settled it in the online lexicon and used by a number of people in their posts and reels. Here are some:

Jools Lebron, who is responsible for its spread across various social platforms, is a trans influencer. She makes videos on make-up tutorials and  epic Bratz and American Girl Doll collections. Lebron said she took inspiration from demure divas who have come before her, such as Paris Is Burning star Venus Xtravaganza.
