Euphoria actress Zendaya has established a name for herself in the world of fashion with her constantly evolving inventive looks. At the Paris Fashion Week, the actress donned an angled black dress and an assymetric haircut, which shook fans all over the world. Her eclectic style is often credited to her loyal friend and stylist, the very talent Law Roach. Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi film, Dune Part: 2 is set for release in the United States on March 1. Its expansive and impressive press tour has become one giant vehicle for facilitating some Zendaya’s most iconic looks as she’s turned routine movie premiere events into an opportunity to set a new bar for celebrity fashion. 

Despite attracting majority of the attention to the tour, Zendaya’s highly anticipated role in the movie of the name ‘Chanis’ had only appeared in the franchise for a total screen time of 7 minutes. This made fans even more eager for a continuation. The entire caste consisting of Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, and more are finally making their way around the globe to promote the film which had it’s release delayed from October 20, 2023 to this year.

A Deep Dive Into Zendaya’s Looks

London

Archival Mugler

Zendaya wore the original fembot suit from the Manfred Thierry Mugler fall 1995 Haute Couture collection, as confirmed by her stylist Law Roach. The body hugging armour certainly highlighted the futuristic, almost robotic undertones of the alien planet Arrakis shown in the movie. The bodice looked like metal, while the pants fit her like liquid chrome. The suit also featured matching gloves made of the same molten silver metal.

As the ambassador of luxury jewellery brand Bvlgari, the actress also wore a gorgeous glittering diamond and sapphire necklace. The finishing touch was a pair of silver platform shoes with cutouts that mimicked those on the suit.

She wore her hair in a wet low bun, with contrasting bold brows and a neutral glossy lip. The look has created an uproar online, garnering more attention than ever to the premier of the film.

Latest Mugler

Zendaya’s stunning old Mugler look with its strategically placed cut-outs wasn’t the only look she wore for the Dune 2 premiere in London. For the actual premier, she slipped into a complete opposite of the former outfit. Yet again in Mugler, she wore a classic jet blag slip dress, perfectly chic and classy for the event. This piece was part of Casey Cadwallader’s pre-fall 2024 collection for the house.

After having seen the movie, Zendaya escaped the busy Leicester Square with Tom Holland, and the couple were seen on the streets of London, turning the world premiere afterparty into their own personal date night — their first public outing together since breakup rumors swirled in mid-January.

Roksanda

Zendaya put a chic twist on the re-emerging skirt over pants trend as she attended the Dune 2 Photocall on 14th of February, that is, Valentine’s day. Looking perfectly British, she wore maroon set from Roksanda with a plunging neckline and a bold eye look matching the hues of the fit. This time, she chose to style her hair in a long slick braid, with minimalistic rings adorning her fingers.

Paris

Custom Louis Vuitton

The fashion icon arrived in the fashion capital of the world, Paris for the Dune 2 premiere in February 2023. Law styled her in a custom two-piece gold look by Louis Vuitton and jewels by Bvlgari — two brands she’s an ambassador for. The dusky, earthy tones of the looks depicted the sandy dunes that could be seen all over the terrain of Arrakis in the movie. The orange eyeshadow overpowered the neutral lip, and the actress wore chunky mismatched jewelry.

Alaïa

At another photocall event held at the Shangri La Hotel in Paris on February 12, the Euphoria star wore a stunning white number that bared her shoulders and wrapped around her body beautifully. Zendaya paired the number with starkly white pumps and a beautiful spring makeup look, subtle and light in every sense. The flowy assymetric skirt even possessed a train. The dress reportedly belonged to Alaïa’s summer-fall 2024 collection by the designer Pieter Mulier.

Mexico

Custom Bottega Veneta

As the press tour made its way to Mexico, the diva geared up to serve more iconic looks. For the red carpet event in Mexico City on held on February 6, she opted for a fully custom Bottega Veneta by Matthieu Blazy in mocha monochrome complete with a super cropped, turtleneck long-sleeved top. The fit was paired with a croc-banded maxi skirt with exposed pockets and a long side slit.

She accesorised her chocolate-y fit with an anklet, chunky rings and a pair of earrings. Finally, brown Christian Louboutin heels elevated the ‘fit.

Custom Torishéju

February 5th marked the debut of London-based British-Nigerian-Brazilian designer Torishéju Dumi’s eponymous label on the red carpet, as Zendaya wore a custom dress by them for the first Dune 2 event of 2024, a photocall in Mexico City on February 5. Comprising a twisted halter-neck crop top and a red and black maxi skirt with an extreme split, the ensemble was perfectly in keeping with the warrior-princess theme of the actor’s Dune press tour wardrobe so far.

Las Vegas

Louis Vuitton 

Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet offered a tantalizing preview of what’s on the horizon during an appearance at the CinemaCon red carpet in Las Vegas on April 25 of 2023, their first promotional event on the sci fi sequel.
