Rendon’s past injuries

Los Angeles Angels third baseman Rendon hasn’t played a single game since July 4 because of his continuous injuries over time. He had hip surgery in 2021, wrist surgery in 2022 and a fractured shin in 2023. However, Rendon’s latest injury revealed when the two time silver slugger has spent multiple weeks not answering or dodging the questions around his injury update.

He was diagnosed with a fractured tibia by the doctors which then reaffirmed by Rendon and subsequently by the Los Angeles Angels later. Angels manager Phil Nevin confirmed this and said that the team would likely need to let him rest for a while. He also then provided insights into the case and kept on to state bleeding in the bone and that’s never a good sign.

Now Anthony Rendon understands that staying on the field is the biggest key for him this season. So he tweaked some of his offseason routines to get stronger and energetic this season. He played only 58 games in 2021, 47 in 2022 and merely 43 games in 2023 as a result of injuries. However, Rendon is not setting goals in mind for his coming season because he’s fallen short in recent years. Rendon said. “I’m just literally just trying to take it one day at a time. If I could survive one more day. I’m happy.”
