Alec Baldwin children in new show
People slammed the star for hiding his fault in the shooting incident that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. He was accused of pulling the trigger of a lethal weapon which fatally shot Hutchins. His trial is due in court next month.
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin took to Instagram to announce the launching of their new reality show. The show follows and features the Baldwin family and their ups and downs while raising Alec Baldwin children which are seven aged zero to ten year.
Alec Baldwin children includes Carmen Gabriela, Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao Lucas, María Lucía Victoria, Ilaria Catalina Irena and Ireland Baldwin. Ireland Baldwin is her eldest child, 27, born in 1995 with his then wife actor Kim Basinger. While all other kids are with his current wife Hilaria Baldwin.
They said in an announcement, “In this TLC follow-doc series, Alec and Hilaria invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids. For the first time, they’re opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the non-stop love, laughter and drama.”
Additionally, Alec Baldwin said, “We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good and bad, the wild and the crazy.”
Why faced backlash?
The couple was confident of promoting their new reality show and posted a video on Instagram but faced backlash amid his ongoing legal woes. Alec Baldwin is accused in Rust movie shooting incident. He is facing charge of involuntary manslaughter over the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Hutchins died, When a gun he was holding accidentally fired on the set of Rust movie. According to many, Baldwin, actor and producer of the movie, had shown total disregard or indifference for the safety on the set.
Alec Baldwin pleaded not guilty. However, Jury will decide the fate of the actor. The trial will likely to begin in July following jury selection.
Speaking about his new reality show, social media users commented on the need of such show amid Rust movie incident. One user wrote, “Um, Alec? Is now really the best time for this?”
While another wrote, “I wish they wouldn’t do this!”
Third person accused Baldwin of covering his legal woes by promoting new reality show and wrote, “Anything to make people forget about the court case, I see.”
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed conviction
Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was convicted of involuntary manslaughter over weapon mishandling and indirectly killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Gutierrez-Reed is facing 18 month prison sentence following her conviction.
Speaking at her sentencing, Santa Fe judge Mary Sommer said: “You were the armourer, the one that stood between a safe weapon and a weapon that could kill someone.
“You alone turned a safe weapon into a lethal weapon. But for you, Ms. Hutchins would be alive, a husband would have his partner, and a little boy would have his mother.”
