Kate Hudson reveals relationship with her estranged Father is getting better now

Home Alone 2 actress Kate Hudson talked about her father Bill Hudson and recent issues or challenges concerning her life in an interview with Tracy Smith. The Oscar nominated actor and singer will appear on CBS Sunday Morning. The 45-year old actor and singer talked about relationship with her father Bill Hudson, infamous for his 1970s band, The Hudson Brothers.

Kate Hudson never hesitate to openly talk about her relationship with biological father Bill Hudson. However, When asked about relationship with him, She replied she doesn’t really have one, but it is warming up a bit. She also added that she has no expectations from Bill and just wants him to be happy.

The Hudson Brothers member, Bill Hudson married Goldie Hawn, Kate’s mother, from 1976 to 1982 and the couple got separated in 1983 which led to Kate being estranged from her biological father. After this, Goldie Hawn started dating her long time partner, Kurt Russel and subsequently the duo raised Kate and Oliver, from Bill Hudson and Kurt’s sons, Boston and Wyatt Russell.

Kate Hudson upcoming “Glorious” Album

Kate Hudson is going to release her new album “Glorious” on May 17 and fans are going crazy about it indeed. Though, Kate has a bending interest towards music but never joined music industry. In one of her interviews last year, She opened up about how she avoided entering entering the world of music because of her complicated relationship with her father.

Bride Wars actress, Kate had once said that music is the one connection she has to him, and if she failed at it, it would break her, and she wasn’t ready for that. But now it seems like she is ready to launch her career in the music industry and thereby announced album on May 17.

Kate’s reply to criticism

In an interview with Tracy Smith, Kate raised an issue where people in her life told her not to pursue releasing songs as they been written and recorded as time has passed and that she is old now. However, Hudson replied it wasn’t about performing but more about wanting to write music. So she didn’t care about what other people said. Now we all are eagerly waiting for her new album releasing next month on May 17.
