Stellar Blade new game plus and new skins
In an interview with ruliweb.com, Kim Hyeong-Tae (the CEO of Shift Up) said that protagonist Eve will be receiving new skins to wear after the game launches on April 26. He also added that a Stellar Blade new game plus mode is also in the works, as well as saying that the studio hasn’t decided on whether DLC should be made for the game.
The CEO also added that Stellar Blade will not include any microtransactions for players to purchase, and that the game is the only thing they’ll be buying. This can change, however, if Shift Up teamed up with another studio to design a new skin for Eve to equip. In cases like this, players will need to pay for the skin.
What is Stellar Blade?
The latest PS5 exclusive, Stellar Blade is a hack-and-slash game where you control Eve, a soldier sent to reclaim Earth overrun by a hostile alien species called the Naytiba. Eve will also be aided by her companions (her squad leader Tachy, engineer Lily, and scavenger Adam), Eve will combat the Naytiba across various locations, from the last human city of Xion to the brutal wasteland that lies outside the city, as well as undertake various side missions and understand how Earth came to be as it is.
Stellar Blade will have 60 FPS gameplay, as well as story moments where Eve will need to make important decisions that will impact the overall narrative.
Buyers can currently pre-order the game as well as download and complete a demo, with the save file carrying over to the full version when it releases on April 26.
