Tomb Raider fans are eating good. In addition to a Tomb Raider TV show that’s set to premiere on Amazon Prime sometime in the future and being able to pre-order physical versions of the Lara Croft Collection, details regarding the physical editions of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered have been revealed.

The official Tomb Raider X (formerly Twitter) account posted a link to the Tomb Raider website that shows what physical editions will be available for purchase. There will be standard physical editions for the remastered game bundle coming to PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S priced at $34.99/€34.99/£29.99, which only contain the games and nothing more.

There will also be a deluxe edition priced at $54.99/€54.99/£49.99 that will include a steelbook, a soundtrack greatest hits voucher, a collectible tuck-in box, and an exploration map book along with the games.

The one with the most goodies (and the one that’ll make you fork over the most cash) is the collector’s edition priced at $199.99, courtesy of Limited Run Games. This edition will include:

  • The games
  • A steelbook
  • A Soundtrack available on both physical CD and digital formats
  • A Map book
  • Three polygonal figures of Lara accurate to their in-game models
  • Three 12×16 inch posters of the games
  • Premium trading cards
  • Replicas of Lara’s pistols in a lit shadowbox

Pre-orders for all editions will begin today at all major retailers and will be available on September 24 later this year.

That’s not all, though. Limited Run Games also announced that Nintendo Switch owners can pre-order a NEO S controller and a Nitro Deck+ controller for their console, both of which are themed around the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.

Other Tomb Raider news

tomb raider crystal dynamics

As mentioned before, a Tomb Raider series is coming to Amazon Prime and will involve Phoebe Waller-Bridge acting as both writer and executive producer. This series will be geared towards both longtime fans of Lara and newcomers who want to know what she’s all about. Amazon Studios and Amazon Games will be helping Crystal Dynamics to expand Lara’s world as her Tomb Raiding adventures will be available on various media platforms for fans to enjoy.

Lara’s also getting a Netflix show that’s being animated by Powerhouse Animation, the same studio that worked on Netflix’s Castlevania series. This show will bridge the Crystal Dynamics trilogy of games and the very first game in the series, showing what Lara was up to during this gap. Two seasons have been ordered and the first one will have eight episodes, each taking 22 minutes of your time. It’s scheduled to drop sometime in 2024.

As for Lara’s next video game adventure, there are rumors that she’ll be headed to India and that the game will be open-world. The rumors say the world will feature vast sceneries and that Lara will be able to use a motorcycle and other methods of traveling to get to places. Amazon Games has been confirmed to be a partner for Summer Game Fest in June, so perhaps they’ll show Lara in action to build up hype among her fans.
